CHAOS is a people driven organization we work with people to people. We think transparency a key value in our D.N.A so bellow you can find a bit of our team, who they are and details about them. These are the persons that are the persons in contact with the groups or individuals the use our services.
Jess grew up with horses as part of her family. This may sound strange to call horses family, but that’s what they truly are to her. She knows each of them well and from a young age, recognizes that every horse had a very different, and distinct character, and that each would play a role within peoples lives at different times.
As Jess grew up, life happened. She moved away from home, her horses and their close relationship. She qualified as a small animal veterinary nurse, but something was missing. . .
She moved back to Cornwall and started working as a large animal and equine veterinary nurse. Things were better, Jess had a connection with horses through riding and nursing them back to health but something was still missing. . .
As life does, it opened an opportunity to combine Jess’ passions, people and animals. Jess started working with people and horses, gained her equine psychology degree and qualified as an equine specialist.
She is now in a great place and says that she is very lucky and incredibly grateful as, for the majority of the time, she loves her job! Jess believes if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.
Equine Therapist and General Practitioner
In contrast, Pennys family and early upbringing had little involvement with horses, though despite this from a fairly early age she was drawn to them, started learning to ride and her own horse was her first “big” purchase on qualifying from medical school and starting work as a doctor.
Penny’s medical career and equine involvement have shared equal parts of her life since that time, as with Jess, her horses are her family.
As a GP (family doctor), Penny has over the last twenty plus years seen a dramatic increase in the amount of mental health issues presenting and has become frustrated by the limited treatment options available to the majority of her patients via the NHS. Through training as an equine therapist Penny has been able to meet a personal and professional need within to help people, whilst indulging her love of horses!
A 27-years-old women Cornish born and bred.
After school I joined the army were I was a completed my solider training and qualified as a dental nurse.
When I left persuade my passion for horses working part time on the side I show jumped in Spain and all over England.
Before moving back to Cornwall, I met Babs(CHAOS Group director) & Jess Strongman via the horses and was introduced to the chaotic but laid back work that is CHAOS.

Italian Horse Whisper
I am Sirio I am 19 years old and I am Italian, more precisely of a country called Loncon located in the countryside of the province of Venice. I live together with my parents and two other younger brothers.
I have two great passions, the design and the animals, and the natural environment in fact or my daily cops in Italy are raising small animals like hens and ducks, which my grandparents taught me, and manage my two dogs for pure passion and personal study. (being with animals has helped me to better understand people and myself).
before this project I worked in a winery and finished the three months of seasonings and realized that I belonged to a monotonous and closed routine I decided to join this project to learn how much I can learn about new cultures and people and to transmit what I know and grow mentally to find autonomy.
working in the chaos farm for me is amazing I am available to help with any problem and I am satisfied in doing so.
